2. PRODUCTS
Carré offers premium leather phone cases and related leather goods handcrafted in France.
The essential characteristics of each product are presented on the relevant product page.
Carré currently offers products crafted from materials including:
-
full-grain grained calfskin;
-
crocodile leather.
Leather is a natural material. Subtle variations in colour, grain, texture, scales and tone are inherent to the material and contribute to the individual character of each Carré piece.
Such natural variations are not considered defects.
Customers are responsible for checking that the selected product is compatible with their phone or device before placing an order.
Carré Concierge is available to assist customers who require help identifying the correct model, leather or product.
3. PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHS
Carré makes every reasonable effort to ensure that product photographs and visual representations accurately reflect the products offered.
However, variations may occur due to:
-
the natural characteristics of leather;
-
lighting conditions;
-
screen calibration;
-
photographic reproduction;
-
differences in grain, texture or scale patterns.
Photographs are therefore provided as an accurate representation of the product but cannot guarantee an identical appearance for every individual leather piece.
4. AVAILABILITY
Products are offered subject to availability and production capacity.
Where a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, Carré will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible.
Where Carré is unable to fulfil an order, the corresponding amount will be refunded using the original payment method.
5. PRICES
Prices displayed on the website are shown in the currency applicable to the customer's selected market.
Prices include applicable taxes where required.
Carré reserves the right to modify its prices at any time.
The price charged to the customer will be the price displayed at the time the order is confirmed.
Any delivery charges applicable to an order will be displayed before final confirmation of the order.
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or other local charges may apply.
The final Carré policy regarding customs duties and import taxes must be confirmed before launch for destinations where such charges may apply.
6. ORDERS
The customer selects the product they wish to purchase and, where applicable:
-
phone model;
-
leather;
-
colour;
-
quantity;
-
initials;
-
hot-stamping finish.
Before confirming an order, the customer must verify all selected options and delivery information.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that:
-
the phone model is correct;
-
the selected leather and colour are correct;
-
any initials entered are correct;
-
the selected Gold or Silver hot-stamping finish is correct;
-
the delivery address is complete and accurate.
An order becomes binding once checkout has been completed, these Terms and Conditions have been accepted and payment has been successfully authorised.
Carré will send an order confirmation to the email address provided by the customer.
Carré reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases including:
-
suspected fraud;
-
payment failure;
-
manifest pricing errors;
-
incorrect product availability;
-
other legitimate reasons.
Where payment has already been collected for an order that Carré cannot fulfil, the customer will be refunded.
7. PERSONALISATION
Selected Carré products may be personalised with initials.
Personalisation options may include:
-
up to three initials;
-
Gold hot stamping;
-
Silver hot stamping.
The customer is entirely responsible for checking the spelling and order of initials before confirming the purchase.
The visual personalisation preview available on the website is provided for illustrative purposes.
The final position, colour and appearance of hot stamping may vary subtly due to the handcrafted process and the natural characteristics of the leather.
Once a personalised order has entered production, the personalisation cannot normally be modified or cancelled.
8. PAYMENT
Payment is made using the payment methods available during checkout.
Payments are processed securely through Shopify and the payment providers activated on the Carré store.
Available payment methods may vary depending on the customer's country, currency or market.
The customer confirms that they are authorised to use the selected payment method.
Carré does not directly store complete payment card information.

-

These delivery times are indicative.

Where personalisation requires additional preparation time, this may extend the period before dispatch.
The customer will receive delivery information and tracking details where available.
10. DELIVERY
Orders are delivered to the address provided by the customer during checkout.
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Carré cannot be responsible for delays or failed delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
Customers are encouraged to inspect their parcel upon receipt.
If a parcel or product arrives visibly damaged, the customer should contact Carré as soon as possible and provide photographs where appropriate.
11. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Consumers purchasing remotely generally have a legal right to withdraw from an eligible purchase within 14 days from receipt of the goods, without having to provide a reason.
To exercise this right, the customer must clearly inform Carré of their decision before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Requests may be sent to:
Email: romain@carre-paris.com
Telephone / WhatsApp: +33 6 64 51 01 28
Customers must contact Carré before returning a product in order to receive the applicable return instructions.
Eligible products must be returned without undue delay and in accordance with the instructions provided by Carré.
12. RETURN CONDITIONS
Eligible non-personalised products may be returned within 14 days of receipt.
Carré covers the cost of eligible returns.
Products should be returned:
-
unused;
-
undamaged;
-
complete;
-
with all accessories supplied;
-
in their original packaging where reasonably possible.
Customers must handle products only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and correct functioning.
Carré may take into account any reduction in value resulting from excessive handling, in accordance with applicable law.
The return address and shipping procedure will be provided when the return request is accepted.
13. PERSONALISED PRODUCTS
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made according to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised where the applicable legal conditions are met.
Accordingly, Carré products personalised with customer-requested initials or other bespoke personalisation cannot normally be returned or exchanged.
This exclusion does not affect the customer's statutory rights where a personalised product:
-
is defective;
-
is damaged;
-
does not correspond to the order;
-
is otherwise non-conforming under applicable law.
14. REFUNDS
Where a return is accepted, Carré will reimburse the amounts due in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
Where permitted by law, Carré may defer reimbursement until:
-
the returned goods have been received; or
-
the customer provides evidence that the goods have been returned,
whichever occurs first.
15. LEGAL GUARANTEE OF CONFORMITY
Customers purchasing as consumers benefit from the mandatory legal guarantees provided by applicable consumer law.
In France, the legal guarantee of conformity applies for two years from delivery of the product.
Where a product is not in conformity with the contract, the consumer may be entitled, depending on the circumstances and applicable law, to:
-
repair;
-
replacement;
-
a price reduction;
-
termination of the contract.
These statutory rights apply independently of any commercial warranty Carré may offer.
Carré, as the professional seller, is responsible for handling claims under the legal guarantee of conformity.
16. HIDDEN DEFECTS
Customers may also benefit from the statutory guarantee against hidden defects under applicable French law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits mandatory legal rights available to consumers.
17. PRODUCT CARE AND NATURAL MATERIALS
Carré products are crafted from natural leathers including grained calfskin and crocodile.
Leather may naturally evolve with use and develop a patina over time.
Variations in:
-
grain;
-
texture;
-
tone;
-
colour;
-
scale pattern;
are inherent characteristics of natural leather.
Customers should follow the recommendations provided in the Carré Care Guide.
Products should be protected from prolonged exposure to:
-
water;
-
excessive heat;
-
abrasive surfaces;
-
unsuitable chemicals or cleaning products.
Damage caused by misuse, accidents, inappropriate care or abnormal use may not constitute a manufacturing defect, without prejudice to the customer's mandatory statutory rights.
18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Carré name, trademarks, logos, photographs, product designs, texts, graphics, videos, visual identity and other website content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Such content may not be reproduced, copied, distributed, modified, published or commercially exploited without prior written authorisation from the relevant rights holder.
